The “Vela Gialla" is a split level house with a private garden, completely independent.
The House is located in a small seaside village called Punta Chiappa, (via nicoló Cuneo 3, Camogli) reachable only by boat (public transport) in 10 minutes from the nearby village called Camogli. In Punta Chiappa there are no roads, so the car has to be left in a parking lot in Camogli. The boat has a daily frequency based on the time of the year.

The sleeping area includes two bedrooms; one with an en-suite bathroom with a ‘snail’ shaped shower.
The living area is south-facing where you can walk out onto the balcony overlooking the sea where you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. While in the east side of the house you goes into the garden bands on three levels; the first equipped with a barbecue, table and chairs; illuminated with a source of potable water. In the garden awaits oranges and persimmons in the winter and, in the summer, a small garden ‘orto dei semplici’ with characteristic aromas of the area and then again lavenders, papyrus, hibiscus…
The “Vela Gialla" is located in a corner of paradise, situated before the area of Paradise Gulf, with the Cetacean Sanctuary at the bottom, and behind the trails of Mount Portofino and its breathtaking views. To reach it you can take the path that starts from the little square of San Rocco di Camogli and go down to the sea for about 1,000 steps; or you may want to catch the boat to the pier of Camogli, on a boat that makes regular public services, and in about 10 minutes you will arrive at Port Louse. From there, you'll have to go up the trail for about 8 minutes. Arrived, you will be greeted by the lapping of the waves, by the screech of the seagulls and, in the winter time, you will meet a family of robins.
The Blue Line (Linea Blu) connects the charming fishing villages of Recco, Camogli, Punta Chiappa and San Fruttuoso while offering visitors a boat trip around Golfo Paradiso with stunning views and unforgettable sights. After leaving the dock of Camogli passengers will first enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the tiny village and then be able to admire the majesty of Portofino mountain, the pudding-stone landmark outcrop of Punta Chiappa, and then the exclusive hamlet of San Fruttuoso, followed by the famous Hermit grotto and the Cala dell’Oro, both protected areas where boats are prohibited. Along the way, passengers often sight striped bottle-nosed dolphins and the other dolphins that live in these coastal waters. From April through September one can also reach Camogli Punta Chiappa and San Fruttuoso from the town of Recco, which is closer to the autostrada and where it is easier to park. The trip from Recco to Camogli takes only 5 minutes.
