Residence 2204 is a privately owned residence, located on the 22nd floor at the beautiful W Hotel on the ocean in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel has recently completed an incredible $30M+ renovation and looks brand new!
The suite is called an 'Ocean Retreat'. It is 1283 square feet inside and has a huge balcony with amazing views of the ocean and intracoastal. There are two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and a stainless steel kitchen with four burner stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven, dishwasher, blender, automatic coffee maker, toaster, dishes, glassware, utensils, pasta pot, strainer, two pans and cutting board. The master bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi bath tub. There are three TVs, a DVD players and a washer/dryer. There are Amazon Alexa's in each room and a Marshall stereo speaker as well.
You have all the amenities of the W hotel available to you including free wifi. Housekeepings are available from an outside service and are by request but mandatory on a 1x/ week pro-rated basis for an additional fee of $130. An exit cleaning is additional.
Resort fee of US$35 per night plus tax isn't included and is paid directly to the W hotel upon arrival.
A parking fee of US$40 per night plus tax isn't included and is paid directly to the hotel if you have a vehicle on property.

Summary: Property looks beautiful through photos. While it's located centrally with easy access to the boardwalk, the unit itself was not impressive. The unit is in need of maintenance and restocking of toiletries & linens. The smell was very unpleasant. Would have preferred to stay in the hotel side of this resort. The owners side of this resort was not cared for as well and the staff was off kinder on friendliness. Hopefully, the concerns I presented to the owner will be addressed.
