Summary: Bit hit or miss. Some front desk staff friendly, helpful and some a bit disinterested. Lobby cafe good. Fitness area good. Rooftop pool more like a large bath, and rooftop bar has views, but only views of New Orleans business district. Unable to turn down aircon. One of the movement triggered vanity lights wouldn't turn off and despite reporting it, no action taken. Twice had to get new room keycards having got to the room and them not working (didn’t keep them next to the phone). All that sounds a bit petty but they add up. An okay stay but not as efficient as i would expect from a Virgin branded product.
