Positive: Villa is set in a beautiful and atmospheric location — the buildings themselves look like they’re made of clay, which is charming. We stayed as a group of 12 and had the entire villa to ourselves. Watching sunsets from the terrace with pasta and local wine was pure bliss. It was a perfect base to explore northern Sardinia with our rented cars. The villa, although aged, was clean and thankfully free of the bad smells. The large pool was also a major plus — perfect for relaxing or having a small pool party.
Negative: We had no running water the morning after arrival, and since it was a bank holiday, it took hours to get things working again — not great with 12 people. Even after that, the water temperature was unreliable, and boiler instructions were unclear. Power also went out a few times until we found and managed the fuses ourselves. Both kitchens were poorly equipped, and the dishwasher was clogged from the start. Bed linen comes at an extra cost, and even when paid for, you have to put it on yourself. Also, waste must be carefully separated, which isn’t a big deal but is something to be aware of.
Summary: Stunning location for a group stay, with some rough edges
