Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location was excellent, very accessible and very central to all. There were blueberries growing all around the chalet and we made blueberry pancakes! We played games, enjoyed meals, and had a place to sleep.

Negative: Despite several attempts, the jacuzzi never got warmer than 87 degrees. Although the chalet was well stocked with dishes, pillows, blankets etc., everything felt worn out and in need of a good cleaning and maintenance. See the photo of the pillow sham on the bed.

Summary: The Vail Chalet met our needs but didn't delight.
