The Osprey's View is a charming home away from home within walking distance to restaurants, pubs, parks, and shopping. Located on the third floor of a historic multi-family building downtown, there are two tall staircases to ascend and descend upon entry and departure. Watch the ships sail by from the large living room window. At low tide, you may even see the oyster beds.
The Osprey's View has a generously stocked kichen with modern accessories perfect for whipping up a batch of warm mini waffles with the mini waffle maker, or sipping coffee while enjoying the sunrise over the water.
Through the private curtain partition of the cozy bedroom is found the antique bed with queen memory foam mattress, soft linens with fluffy pillows, blankets, and a decadent duvet.Guests have access to the entire one bedroom apartment, small lawn and garden area, as well as the shared complimentary laundry facilities the ground floor. Outdoor spaces and laundry room are shared with other guests.We absolutely adore spoiling our guests, and try to think of every little thing to make your visit exceptionally amazing.

It is highly recommended that guests have the VRBO application downloaded and properly updated on the preferred device, and that all notifications are turned on in order to facilitate timely communications.
*Please note that there is a natural essential oil diffuser in the apartment. Most guests adore the natural, plant-based scent, however, if you prefer, we are happy to remove it prior to your stay.

*While we do our sincere utmost to maintain meticulous standards of cleanliness, the space may contain allergens, including those of pets and gluten, among others, inherent in a vintage and historical building. Please communicate any special needs or requests prior to your arrival, that we may do our best to make your stay as convenient and comfortable as possible.
*PARKING
There are two parking spaces in the front of the green three-story building, and 3 parking spaces behind the blue apartment building that you may park in. Parking behind the teal-colored building can be tight for larger, or full-sized vehicles, though we regularly accommodate minivans and smaller trucks back there. It is up to your own discretion, risk, and comfortability to decide where you would like to park. For larger vehicles, I recommend parking in one of the two parking spaces in front of the green building when they are available. Parking is not assigned, and there is one space per suite, so your party is allowed one space only. If you happen to have multiple vehicles or guests with vehicles during your stay, they are welcome to park up the street, or in the free city parking spaces.
*PETS
Well-behaved pets are welcome.
Please no excessive barking, fleas or bugs, and must be absolutely house-trained. We ask that pets are on a leash at all times when outside, and that owners are diligent about picking up pet waste. There may also be other pets on the property with whose owners I have the same expectations. Pets should be attended at all times.
*NO SMOKING/vaping of tobacco or cannabis products indoors. Both are legal in Oregon, and you are welcome to step outside, off of the property, away from other doors, guests, and guest room entrances, in order to enjoy.
*CHILDREN
While families with children are very much welcomed, please know that there are potential safety risks, and children should be attended to at all times. Please let us know if you would like a portable crib/Pack-n-Play provided in the apartment prior to your stay.

*URBAN SOUNDS
Being that the Ospreys View Apartment is located downtown, city sounds such as traffic, among others, are inherent and unavoidable in an urban setting.
Please note that our neighbors at the historic and beautifully remodeled Liberty Theater will commence the groundbreaking for further renovations. This may create daytime construction noise for which we deeply apologize. However, we dearly love the performing arts, and so support the preservation process of our beloved next door theater, as well as the beautification of our downtown.
*QUIET HOURS
For the sake of our guests, quiet hours are maintained between 8pm and 8am.
*NO COOKING OF SEAFOOD
Please do not cook crab, seafood, or other highly odoriferous foods inside of the home space as the smells are incredibly difficult to remove.
*SHOE-FREE
These are shoe-free homes. Please curl your toes around the soft rugs and make yourselves cozy. This eliminates so much dirt from entering the place, especially in the wet months on the coast. Thanks for understanding!
