Tiny cottage on the Belle river. 1 bedroom with bathroom and loveseat in living room pulls to a twin bed. Full kitchen. 400 square feet of tiny! Cute and cozy. Walk 7 blocks to town and the BIG St Clair river. Watch freighters go by. Public beach too. Cute shops and great seafood restaurants! There is a tv and dvd player and movies. Antenna only; tv is positional and may only get a few channels. No internet. Cell service is fine.$35 per pet per stay no cats. Keep off furnitureand beds and crate as needed.

Summary: Host experience:Host did not offer any remedies to our complaints.Amenities: 1. Cottage was very cold when we arrived. Too cold to allow us to stay there comfortably. Host said, “Well it’s cold out”. We said we did not want to stay there under those conditions. We asked for a refund. She refused. She also did not allow us to use the baseboard heat (the thermostat was locked) which would have helped to warm it faster. The temperature was inadequate in the bedroom and bathroom until the middle of the night.2. The shower drain did not work for the entirety of our stay. When we informed her of this she offered no remedy. 3. When we were leaving the lock would not lock the door. So we volunteered to get batteries so that we could lock the door when we left. She thanked us but did not offer to reimburse us.4. She was uncooperative and argumentative. Implied that the shower issue was our doing.5. The price was exorbitant for the location and the amenities.
