Positive: Exceptional. Bed was so comfortable and huge. We had the smell of buddlia wafting through with a cool breeze at night. Kitchen well stocked. Lovely lazy boy chairs. The quarry lakes, the beautiful wild flowers and trees, the hot tub …. Everything was perfect. We were welcomed with scones, jam and cream. Kirsty made us feel at home and was kind enough to take time to tell us the history of the quarry which was fascinating. Her and her husband have really thought this venture out to every last detail. It’s been a labour of love and you can tell… it’s an exquisite and beautiful place to stay. Peaceful, tranquil and close to lots of great places to visit… although we were quite happy hanging out where we were, but the lake and nature. We love this place so much we’ve told our friends and will definitely be back. There are 4 log cabins and Tickeydoo.. so this place is quiet and not crowded… big bonus .. it’s dog friendly. This place is an absolute gem and such an unusual place to stay. Well done to Kirsty and her husband … I think you have done a fantastic job and we wish you every success with this amazing business venture. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
