Our spacious heritage vacation home accommodates up to 11 guests with all the amenities of home, including five bedrooms each complete with ensuite bathrooms.
Located within walking distance to the beautiful downtown of Kingsville and the trendy restaurant district. Just a short drive to Lake Erie's winery district, beaches and nearby Point Pelee National Park.
Our large heritage home is perfect for wedding guests, family vacations,couples getaway, friends gathering or your business trip.
Guests can relax with their friends or family in the 2 parlours. The “Golden Hour” sun is beautiful and relaxing with the tall windows and ceilings!
The formal dining room is a nice setting for a mid day tea or a fancy place to enjoy some take out!
Enjoy your morning coffee on the covered porch or the back patio close to the mature trees in the yard.
Guests have access to all bedroom suites (5), plus an additional main floor bathroom near the well equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a gas stove, wall oven, large fridge/freezer microwave and Kurig coffee maker. There is a formal dining room and two parlours to relax and spend time as a group. Guests are permitted to use the laundry room for bicycle storage or to do laundry if needed. There is a vestibule for your bags, coats and footwear.
The outdoor areas include: Two covered porches with bistro tables, an outdoor patio with a table and 6 chairs (and an umbrella). The back yard is grass and mature trees, great for a game of badminton or corn hole!
We are long time residents of the beautiful town of Kingsville and know the area well! We are more than happy to help give local recommendations for restaurants, wineries, beaches, shopping, sightseeing etc.
Pelee Island Winery is a short 10 minute walk (or a 1 minute drive) from the Woodbridge House. Another minute into town and you will find most essentials including 2 grocery stores, Fresh Co. and Zehrs, as well as the LCBO, Tim Hortons, McDonalds, Taco Bell and Starbucks. There are 2 pharmacies nearby, Shoppers Drug Mart and IDA.
You will need a car to get to most places. You can bike into town to the restaurants if you are so inclined. There is free street parking as well as free parking in municipal lots in downtown Kingsville.
If you need a taxi, we recommend arranging it in advance as taxi services are limited and Uber does not operate in our area.
Parking on site at the Woodbridge house is free and easy! We suggest one vehicle per room as the maximum.
Rental Agreement - Guest must sign rental agreement. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your rental. There will be no refunds given if the agreement is not signed. A $350 offline Security deposit will be required and a link will be sent to you.
Check In is after 4 pm
Check Out is 10 am to avoid the $75 late check out fee.
Smoking/Vaping -Smoking of any kind is not permitted in the house. Please smoke outside and dispose of all cigarettes butts appropriately in the ashtrays that are provided. Additional cleaning fees maybe charged in the event cigarette butts are found outside of the ashtrays.
Shoes - We ask that you do not wear shoes inside the house, as it tracks in a lot of things we prefer stay outdoors.
Unannounced guests - Prices are quoted in accordance to occupancy of the rooms. We ask that there are no unregistered guest past 10pm.
First Aid Kit & Fire Extinguisher - We have provided both a First Aid Kit and fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.
Housekeeping - There is no daily housekeeping service. While linen and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit to towels or linens to be taken from the house. Should you need extra maid service, please contact us to arrange it. Extra maid services would be at an extra cost.
Noise - Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbours. Quiet hours are from 9pm-8am.
Garbage - Any garbage must be stowed in the appropriate bins. We recommend the garbage is taken out daily to avoid unnecessary odors.
Recycling - Please sort all recycling in appropriate bins (Paper Products in red bin, Glass & Plastic in Blue bins) To avoid a $50 Sorting Fee.
Parking - Please park vehicles in designated parking areas only. Please do not park on the grass. Any illegally parked vehicles are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
Appliances & kitchenware - Only use appliances for their intended uses. We have provided kitchenware for our guests, we kindly ask that you wash anything that is used. Dish soap and cloths are located under the sink.
Furniture and decor - Please do not move the furniture or decor. This can damage the floors and disturb the atmosphere of the home we have work so hard to create.
Pets - Unfortunately, this property is not suitable for pets of any kind.
Towels - Please leave used towel on the floor in the bathroom
Water and septic - DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the system, you could be charged damages of up to $1000.
Liability - The owners and property manager (PM) are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The homeowner and PM are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or other whom the invite to use the premise.
