Positive: Location, facilities and cleanliness was in line with an international 5-star hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with a very ample offering of both an a-la-carte and buffet options. Service was good albeit with that shy/awkward vibes from staff.

Negative: Staff could have better English... sometimes was very hard to understand what they were saying and had to ask to repeat 2 or 3 times. Reception employees (at the very least) should have good English to cater to non-Chinese guests... it's a shame that the hotel overlooks this very basic item. Gym equipment is already outdated and not up to par with equipment you'd normally find in a 5-star hotel (i.e. Tecnhogym). Excessive use of technology and panels (like for lighting, curtains, air conditioning, etc) in the room... its a little too much and can get quite fidgety.

Summary: Overall very good experience.
