Welcome to our Midtown home! Under a mile to UNMC & 10 minutes to CWS, the Zoo, CHI, and downtown. ~15 minutes to airport.
** blocks from Dodge & easy access to the I-80.
We renovated this property built in 1909 to be updated/functional & honor items of that era.
We lovingly call this home The 831. 831 is the area code for the California central coast where we lived many years. Our love of nature/ocean is reflected in the space.
We welcome well behaved pups to accompany their humans : )
The space
Relax with coffee in the sunroom. Work remote with great Wi-Fi. Catch a game on the 65" TV and cozy couch. Drift asleep in queen beds with lux bedding. Cook all your favs in the kitchen.
The main floor has two bedrooms, a living room, dining room, kitchen, full bath, and my favorite room in the house is the sunroom. At the rear of the house there is a fully fenced-in backyard to enjoy. As well as a double garage with alley access.
The lower level has a brand new washer and dryer for your use. A lovely smaller bathroom, kitchenette and gorgeous bench seating/table (great for games or snacks). There is a full-size bed and pull out couch in that area with a Roku TV and classic Nintendo gaming system.
This house was built in 1909. We have remodeled it, but have tried to honor the historic charm as much as possible. You will notice high ceilings, beautiful wood floors, and some original cabinets. You'll even notice the old clean out hatch in one of the abandoned chimney stacks. The 831 feels cozy and modern.
We are dog friendly! Well behaved dogs are welcome. Due to the owners severe cat allergies we request that they do not accompany you.
