Positive: We got upgraded to a suite (no idea why) so that was a treat and it was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was very comfy with lovely bed linen - our best bed experience in Bosnia.

Negative: We had lunch at the restaurant and that was poor so we ditched our dinner reservation there. The receptionist wasn’t able to give us advice on walks in the area and said go outside and just walk and then walk back again?! No maps and no advice about where to go which is ridiculous so the hotel ought to educate its staff and maybe offer a printed map with instructions about what to do in the area. I did contact the hotel in advance about this and was told I would be given this information on check in. The hotel is rather in the middle of nowhere with nothing much to do in the locality so I wouldn’t recommend it for a base with things on the doorstep but it was fine as an airport hotel as such (30 min drive the next morning to Sarajevo Airport). We were unlucky with the weather - torrential rain apart from a 2 hour break when we did venture out so you are rather imprisoned at the hotel when the weather isn’t on your side. Overall, we had a nice stay here and enjoyed the upgrade but wouldn’t return unless we needed an airport hotel for a night.
