This beautiful year round cedar shingle vacation home is situated on 112 feet of waterfront on the South Arm of Lake Charlevoix between Charlevoix and East Jordan. Enjoy views of Lake Charlevoix from your sandy beach or sun deck with private beach cabana, two double chaise lounges, and beachfront dining table. Fire pit for bonfires, roasting marshmallows or romantic evenings by the water. Swim platform with pop-up seats; cedar playset with attached playhouse; catamaran, kayaks and paddle boards available for use by renters.
New professional landscaping from Drost Landscaping includes a lighted stone walk from house to 120 foot private dock with swim platform and room to accommodate a 30 foot boat. Approximately 15 minutes to Boyne Mountain for skiing and other winter sports as well as Boyne Mountain's new all year round water park, Avalanche Bay. Close to other local ski resorts like Boyne Highlands and Nub's Nob. Just minutes from the Castle of Charlevoix, one of the most popular locations in Michigan for destination weddings.
Each room of this brand new home, which has been featured on a national furntiture retailer's website, has been decorated with high quality and comfortable furnishings. Large great room and dining area provide plenty of room for entertaining. Brand new appliances in kitchen include Wolf gas range and hood and Sub Zero refrigerator (new photos to come). Great room has high ceilings, stone fireplace, bar, 60 inch plasma TV (with blu-ray DVD player and X-Box 360 with Kinect) and three sets of French doors that open to a wide deck and overlook Lake Charlevoix. The spacious ground floor master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet, vanity area, wall of windows with spectacular sunrise views and French doors opening out onto a large deck.
The second floor guest room with incredible Lake Charlevoix views has a queen size bed and a queen size sleeper sofa. The large third bedroom is great for kids or can accommodate an entire family with two double beds and a daybed. There is a loft upstairs with a convertible twin sleeper chair. A daybed with additional trundle spring bed in the foyer converts into a king size bed for additional sleeping room.
A spacious outdoor deck facing the lake is furnished with additional dining table, gas DCS barbecue grill, heat lamp, outdoor speakers and Adirondack chairs. Sonos sound system available in house, on deck and at beach.
