Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Spacious room. Dinner was a very good spread and dishes were quite delicious overall. Breakfast was average compared to other ryokans we've stayed at before in Japan.

Negative: Warning! This property does not have A/C in all the rooms. My terrible oversight. It was so hot (during end August summer season) that we couldn't sleep much at all despite having a fan. We had to keep the windows open which means the curtains could not be drawn. Dinner has to be taken by 6pm latest, which was too early for us but no choice. Do note that meal times are strict. 8am for breakfast and 530pm or 6pm for dinner.

Summary: Be warned that there is no A/C even during summer
