Positive: Location and the friendly owner

Negative: We booked two flats which were on two different side's of the building and we had to regularly walk from one flat to the other. One of the guest's (50+ years old German guy) put his chair blocking the way and yelled at my daughter for passing by his apartment.I am not sure what the solution could be, but it would be nice if this confrontation could be avoided.
