The Space:
The Rockford Bay Hideaway is tucked away on 20 wooded acres in the countryside of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Located off Highway 95, our home is 16.4 miles south of all the downtown action. And 12.5 miles from Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort where you’ll find eight restaurants, live music, a spa, golf course – and casino, of course.
Our yard sprawls for 20 acres among rolling hills, ridgetops and a valley with a meadow. Take in all the nature and keep your eyes peeled for our wildlife friends – deer, elk, moose, wild turkey – that may stop by. On the patio, fire up our BBQ grill/smoker and eat meals under the sun and stars. In the warm months, enjoy the lush colors from our garden and walk along our trails. And during winter, snow angels and sledding are always a great idea (we provide sleds).
LIVING ROOM & COZY NOOK
Inside, our living room embraces cabin style with a vaulted ceiling, reclining leather sofas and plush rugs. A potbelly stove adds a lot of charm, even if it’s for looks only. During the day, picture windows bring in natural light – and connect you to the wild stars each night. There’s also a smart TV here so you can curl up for a movie when not talking into the night.
Steps away, a cozy nook facing the kitchen offers another spot to relax. A loveseat is joined by a vintage armchair and decor pieces like a hanging guitar.
KITCHEN & DINING ROOM
Our kitchen is light and bright, with lots of counter space and white cabinets that have everything you’ll need to make delicious meals (spices included). Touches from home include floating shelves, hanging pots and counter stools that are great for breakfast or whiskey nightcaps. You’ll also enjoy a new deep basin sink and appliances, plus a coffee & tea bar that pulls out all the stops. Start your mornings right with our commercial espresso machine, coffee beans from the local Terre Coffee & Bakery, creamer, sugar and tea bags.
The kitchen flows into the dining room where everyone can eat together at our wooden table which seats 10. A white-washed side table doubles as a bar set-up while a bench by the front door invites you to kick off your shoes. And whether a snowy day or midsummer night, this is the place to play card and board games from our collection.
Five bedrooms sleep up to 12 guests, and make you feel right at home. They all have windows, white bedding, wall art and mirrors. Other comfy touches include bedside tables with lamps, dressers, chairs and benches.

A hallway bathroom has a green and turquoise color palette along with a shower / tub combination – perfect for soaking tired muscles after a day out in nature. The master bath has a double vanity and soaking tub where you can bliss out with a glass of wine (or two!).
We also provide these toiletries: toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
