Summary: The room had an excellent view of the river. The location on the river-bend provides views in both directions. This room with a river view cost a bit extra. The staff were very helpful in organising for a sofa-bed to be set up at short notice as another person unexpectedly joined us for a couple of days. The apartment was large and quite well-equipped and clean. The hotel is near Roma Street station (which has direct trains from airport) and quite convenient to the QPAC and museums on the other side of the river. It is slightly out of the main part of the CBD. The restaurant provides breakfast but is mostly not open in the evenings. No-one seemed to know which evenings it would open which made it difficult to plan dinner. However the Transcontinental Hotel is nearby and a good place to eat (we could also prepare meals in the room). There is a potential for road noise (due to busy roads nearby) but we were high enough up that it didn't matter.
