Winding paved roads through the country club lead you to this beautifully landscaped property. No neighbors on 3 sides! The paved circle driveway offers plenty of space for up to 3 vehicles. There are 8 steps up from the walkway to a lovely covered sitting porch and entry. Step inside and experience true New Mexico luxury. The home greets you with an wonderful open floor plan. The cozy living room offers comfy seating with overstuffed leather power recliners, power reclining sofa. Gas "Kiva" style fireplace to warm up on chilly nights. Big screen TV with stereo and surround make this space perfect for movie night or watching the big game with friends and family! "Alexa" makes life easy with commands for lighting and music.
The space flows seamlessly to the dining area with seating for 8 and a dry bar/ serving hutch nearby. A bank of windows offers views out to wooded landscape and the Capitan mountains beyond. The gourmet kitchen is a chef's dream and well equipped with just about everything you'll need to prepare a family feast! Gorgeous cabinetry and granite countertops, high end stainless steel appliances include gas range, dishwasher, and french-door refrigerator. Kitchen island offers great space for prep and serving, built in microwave, and seating for 3. Adjacent to the kitchen you'll find a huge walk in pantry with plenty of space to stock groceries and stocked with supplies, wine or drink chiller, mixer, croc pot, rice cooker and more!
Large glass doors open out to the fabulous back patio and courtyard perfect for enjoying the outdoors and entertaining family and friends! As you step out you'll find a dining breakfast table for 4. This space is nicely covered and a gate leads out to the side walkway to a bench that rests under the pines- a wonderful setting to rest, enjoy a good book, or share your photos with friends and family. Just beyond you'll find a stainless steel propane grill ready for steaks and burgers. Enjoying meals outdoors has never been better! During the daytime, the patio umbrella offers wonderful shade and in the evenings, the center fire table offers wonderful warm and ambiance pretty much year round. For stargazing and relaxing conversation, you'll find a seating area with cozy overstuffed swivel recliners by O.W. Lee that surround a fire table. The turf area makes a great spot to enjoy a game of corn hole!
Back inside the Primary Ensuite is just off the kitchen. Spacious and welcoming with views out to the back courtyard and acres of tall pines. Beautiful furnishings and bedding, storage, relaxing seating area with TV and huge walk-in closet. The private bath has a walk-in shower, soaking tub, dual sinks, make-up vanity and conveniently connects to the laundry room complete with full size washer and dryer and utility sink.
The laundry room connects to the hallway off the kitchen. From here there's a full bath with shower/ tub combo that functions as a convenience powder bath and also services a cozy guest bedroom with views to the west woods. The are 2 single beds, dresser, closet and Smart TV. The desk area makes a great space to get a little work done too!
The 3rd bedroom is just past the living room and left of the front door. A wonderfully secluded space for 2 with queen bed, crisp new linens, handsomely decorated and furnished with dresser, Smart TV, closet and view of the west woods.

ACCESSING THE HOUSE: The circle driveway up to the house is paved and level. There are a 8 steps up to the front porch then entry to the house is through the front door. This is a single level home. Guests have full access of the home except for any locked doors which are for owner's access only.

The Neighborhood:
Alto Lakes Golf and Country Club is a private golf community with sprawling vistas, lush pine forest, and breathtaking mountain and canyon views. The Country Club Community is extremely quiet and noise ordinances are strictly enforced. Please be respectful of the quite enjoyment of your neighbors as sound carries in the canyons.
While Alto provides visitors and residents that "away from it all" feeling, we are conveniently located just 1 mile from the turn off to Ski Apache and Ruidoso Winter Park, 2 miles from Alto Lake, and 12 miles from Ruidoso's bustling Midtown and Grindstone Lake.
Lincoln County is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with great golf, live horseracing in summer months, and dozens of trails open year round for hiking and biking.
Step back in history and take a tour of Billy the Kid's stomping grounds on the Billy the Kid Scenic Byway or take a day trip to nearby White Sands and other great state parks! From mountain peaks to the desert basin, we have it all!
Getting Around:
Driving access is generally easy to moderate and all roads in the Country Club are paved. Some areas around Ruidoso and Alto are hilly to mountainous but generally easy to get around year round. During winter months, guests are encouraged to have access to 4-wheel drive and/or snow chains in the event of a major winter weather event. For extended stays, travel insurance is always recommended.
