Great for walking in the beautiful Suisse Normande region. Close to WWII memorials and historical Flers and Falaise both 20 mins.
Clecy with its riverside restaurants and gentle canoeing and motor river boats just 20 mins away. Market towns at least once a week. Local supermarket stocking everything from wines, bread, cheese and fresh meat - just 2 miles away. The River Orne and the easy or challenging walks are within walking distance - and Rabodanges Le Lac offers municipal beach area, swimming and restuarants just 10 minutes away.
A perfect little set up with private garden and outdoor furniture so you can relax after a day's hiking, walking, cycling or canoeing (beginners to experienced all available nearby) - and if you fancy zip-wiring across the famous Le Roche D'Oetre with full safety harnessing for a couple of hours, its just 20 Euros for a two-hour "flight" through the natural rock and forest habitat (2 miles from the Gite).
The Gite is located at 2, Le Souquet and is called Le Rupestrien locally. This means "Little Cave" because it was hewn out of the 17th century rock attached to the original house.
