Positive: It was an excellent location. I liked the onsen. Staff were very helpful. The room was very small and felt claustrophobic. As I developed painful knee condition after I booked, perhaps it was not the best sort of place to stay. I couldn't sit on the floor and I found it difficult getting up and down sleeping on futon. This is not the fault of the Ryokan. If I had not developed limited mobility, it would have been a great place to stay. The futon was very comfortable to sleep on.

Negative: The shared bathroom was on another floor from my bedroom.
