Positive: If you're looking for a place to "get away" from all of the hustle and bustle then look no further! Located in a small village with views overlooking the local farmland. Myself and 2 of my sons aged 13 & 19 stayed here and was amazed by the beaches & sea which are around 10 minutes away via car. Having shown the pictures of the beaches to friends and family, they are all amazed too. I will say that you must have a vehicle to both get to the location and to get around. The local shops are around 15 minutes away from what we could gather. The cooker is gas and does the job, the shower is warm and the hosts are there to help pretty much immediately if you need anything. Being English, I was only able to communicate really via booking.com Web chat or email which wasn't a problem. The hosts were very responsive! In terms of value for money, you can't beat it! I would 100% go back and will definitely recommend it to friends and family even with the negative views I have written. Please check with the hosts that the facilities list is correct before confirming your booking. It said that there was no parking but there definitely was. It said that there was a bbq but there wasn't. You get the point.
Negative: Upon arrival i was greeted by a mobile home which looked a bit tired. A pressure washer over the front would transform its look. We paid extra for bedding however there were only 2 provided yet there was 3 beds and 3 guests. Maybe the hosts thought the 2 adults were sharing the double bed so an oversite on their behalf. The interior seemed to be clean and tidy but the curtain rails were rusty. Just not a good look if you're being fussy. Yes, the location is great for a bit of piece and quiet however I was kept awake on the first night by the neighbours dog which barked for hours through the night (it was kept outside). It was fine the next night so I guess it was a one off. Unfortunately, the front of the accommodation faces the hosts house and it doesn't feel as though its private whatsoever. I personally felt as if we were being watched (we no doubt wasn't but felt that way). Without a car, you would have nothing for miles. I thought the sea was around a 10 minute walk over a couple of fields but Its more like a 10 minute drive.
