Nestled in the heart of Malibu Canyon, this unique guest house offers a serene and secluded escape, perfectly situated between the pristine Malibu beaches and downtown Calabasas. With convenient access to the 101 freeway and the scenic Pacific Coast Highway, you're just moments away from all that Los Angeles has to offer.
But you won’t feel close to the bustle of the city at all, rather cradled within the sacred and serene Santa Monica Mountains, in your own personal haven tucked away from “real life”.

As you step outside, you'll be greeted by breathtaking views and the tranquil ambiance of the Santa Monica mountains. Enjoy our natural bottom salt water pool, a true gem that sits against a backdrop of more than 10,000 acres of untouched and rustic parkland. It's the perfect place to unwind, sunbathe, and take in the surrounding beauty.
When the sun begins to set, gather around our fire pit, nestled between majestic boulders and beneath the starlit skies. Here, you can roast marshmallows and make s'mores, all while listening to the soothing sounds of wildlife echoing through the canyons.
Inside, you will be surrounded by historical music memorabilia and platinum and gold records by some of the Greats, with inspiring and spiritual goodies sprinkled through out. The guest house is a large, open floor plan layout with an upstairs and downstairs. Upstairs has a queen bed and two twins, both with optional trundles.
Downstairs is a full sized living area with a flat screen smart tv, l-shaped couch, and another twin daybed with a trundle.
On the other side of Japanese shoji screens is a separate kitchen area with a dining table, kitchenette and seating area with that can be converted to another sleeping area by using the daybed that is surrounded by award winning records.
There is a full size bathroom with towels, pool towels and toiletries that opens up directly to an outside dining and grill area- that leads you to a beautiful view of the Santa Monica Mountains and the pool and jacuzzi area.
Things to note:
The Malibu Retreat is a 3 acre retreat that boasts a main house and guest house. They can be reserved together or separately. The only shared spaces between the two are the parking area and the pool and jacuzzi area. Each house has its own designated parking spaces.
Pets are allowed with a one time pet fee.
There is a one time fee per head for additional guests over 7 guests.
If you would like the pool or jacuzzi heated, please let us know at least 72 hours in advance. There is an additional fee to heat and the pool and jacuzzi cannot be heated at the same time.
