Positive: Fantastic villa and gave us a jaw dropping moment when we arrived. Its all very modern, very clean and felt like a splash of luxury. We travelled as 2 families and it really didnt matter which room you were in as they were all large, all had ensuites and comfy beds. We stayed downstairs which was brilliant as the air con filled the floor which was very welcome at 30⁰ plus heat! We also had a lovely sitting area with fairy lights outside our room. The bedrooms all had amazing black out blinds (though 2 didnt work when we were there so some temporary curtains would have been good, but our little ones werent bothered). The pool was heated so we were able to take a midnight dip once the kids were all in bed which was amazing, plenty of sitting areas and loungers. I especially loved the pergola between the pool and kitchen. The view from the main area overlooks the ocean and from the other side you can easily see the volcano Teide. Just amazing. Staff attended to maintain the pool, very discreet and friendly. Previous guests have obviously left bits behind such as float devices balls etc which i thought was lovely to be left for the next people, we added our own bits and left them for the next ones too. The kitchen is really well equipped, there isnt much that wasnt available, all clean and well presented. The area is nice and quiet, which was perfect for us, a few local restaurants and bars but not over crowded. We loved it and rebooked before we even left, cant wait to return!
Negative: The air con was broken in the living room and didnt get looked at, though we did report it. There was also a broken plug socket in one of the childrens bedrooms, which was a bit worrying. Just a couple of maintenence things could probably do with some TLC. We has asked for extra beds prior to arrival and offered to bring toddler ready beds but was told there was no need as they would provide the 2 extra beds but then we didnt have them on arrival so the eldest slept on the sofa. Staff did bring 1 extra bed down after 2-3 days which was great but my 2 (nearly 3 year old) had to sleep in a cot as we had no other bed. But we managed and it was fine, i also appreciate we knowingly booked an 8 bed villa for 10 people with a plan to put the toddlers on ready beds. The communication was a little slow at times (which id seen in previous reviews) however we always got a reply and i appreciate we went during a busy month (August)
