Positive: The Loft is exactly how the pictures present. It’s a huge apartment fully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Exceptional comfortable and spacious. The sofa is big and comfortable with enough space for a family. There are two bedrooms each with a large sized bed which are very comfortable and lots of storage for clothing.The dining area can cater for all guests upto 6 people. The kitchen is also very large with facilities such as as oven, hob,microwave,dishwasher,espresso pod coffee machine,kettle,fridge and freezer. The shower room is large. A small separate toilet The location is in a very quiet area but has lots of shops and supermarkets within walking distance. We parked our car when we arrived and used the local transport. Train station is a 10 minute walk and takes 30mins to the centre of Brussels. Overall the Loft is beautiful and spacious.

Negative: It’s hard to write any negativity as the Loft is beautiful and we really enjoyed our break away. Check in is from 3pm on the day of arrival.Two days before arrival we requested an early check in 12-1pm and received no reply, so sent the request again. The night before check in we received a message saying “ The loft is ready for you and how to obtain keys for entry” Great! That was such a relief as we would have been waiting the whole day after vacating the hotel we were staying in by 10am. We arrived at the loft at 11am and struggled to locate the area to which the keys had been left for us. We asked a young couple who were leaving the building and we were surprised to find that they were actually guests in the same apartment and were just vacating. They explained they had arrived the previous day and at their check in the cleaners were still there. We messaged the loft owners and were told we were too early and the cleaners need to clean apartment before we could go in. We said that we had received a message to say the apartment was ready the night before and took that as a confirmation of the early check in request was allowed. We were told that the message was a copy and paste that is sent to all guests. We were left confused and had to go wait for 2 hours. In the advert parking can be provided at a cost of 10euros a day payable to the apartment owner. We asked about parking and was told that free parking was in an area away from the apartment and we were not offered the payable apartment parking area which is located underground of the apartment. I think the owner was a little annoyed with us over the check in issue so was a little bit of payback?? However we were shown by a neighbour how to access this underground parking and we did park there for free. We were thankful of such as the other parking options meant carrying our luggage and provisions some distance and with a disability would be quite a struggle.
