Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The home is so clean and cozy. The kitchen is well appointed. Games upstairs would be great entertainment for families or on a rainy day. Coffee and snacks were a nice and welcoming touch.
Negative: We booked this home for the amenities but couldn't use any. The sauna only got up to 80⁰. The hot tub was full of dead honey bees and the filter intake was clogged with dead decaying leaves. The firepit pictured on the porch in the first photo of the listing DOES NOT EXIST. While the home did have a fireplace indoors with wood provided, there were 4 lighters and all were empty. So we had to run an errand even to enjoy the fireplace. The TV seemed to be brand new but wasn't set up properly so we had to keep hitting a button every 3 to 4 minutes to get rid of a ROKU ad that slid into the screen. After about 20 emails back and forth with the owners who have agreed to send a partial refund, I am still waiting to see any money. The problem apparently is now in the hands of Booking.com who have yet to respond with a refund. It's been nearly 2 months.
