Positive: The house was roomy, and we all really liked the wrap-around porch. The furniture was comfy, and having a TV in each room was nice. We loved the access to the lake/river.
Negative: There were a few things that I thought could have been better. For example, the ladders to get out of the water on the docks were very sketchy. One of them actually lifted out of the dock when you tried to use it. The last step to get on the dock could potentially be dangerous, esp. since the docks were floating. There were at least two smoke alarms that had been disabled. These last few that I'm going to mention are kind of picky, but you asked: Both sides of the toaster only toasted one side of the bread. The flapper in the bathroom toilet needs to be replaced. The aerator in the kitchen sink fell out. We left it on the windowsill, and the grill needed to be cleaned.
Summary: Beautiful home on a beautiful lake, perfect for a relaxing vacation!
