Surrounded by the sea, the resort features a private beach area and on-site diving and snorkeling opportunities. Komodo Resort is a 1.5-hour boat ride to Labuan Bajo Harbor, and a further 10-minute drive to Komodo Airport. Positive: Awesome hotel located on private beach island. Food was nice and the staff were very friendly. We loved the diving and had the most unbelievable dives. Make sure you only dive on the north side of the island if you are experienced! One of the best places to dive!

Negative: Just so future travelers are aware, the cost really adds up when you put together accommodation and diving. Much more expensive than other parts of Asia, but the dives are beautiful! Two things I would suggest to the hotel: The curtains could be blackout as currently the sunrise certainly wakes you up and if you are staying for consecutive days this will affect your sleep. The second thing is quite petty, but the coffee orders should be complimentary if you are paying full board. We spent soooooo much money there already, so 80k for per coffee is bit much.
