Positive: The room was comfortable and clean and the balcony was awesome!! The pool area was nice and the outdoor games they have set up for anyone to use were a fun treat! The views were beautiful!
Negative: The airport is literally right nextdoor to this hotel and the ocean is close but it’s across a main and busy street to get to the ocean and there is no beach area present. It is only a short drive or nice walk along the road on a sidewalk to get to a public beach area. The hotel was unaccommodating on my request for an earlier check in AT ALL and it was not busy AT ALL, so that was definitely frustrating not being able to check in even an hour earlier to change and settle before our fishing charter at 4:00pm. We had to wait and check in after our charter at 7:30pm and left early the following morning. They did allow us to store our luggage at the front desk in a secure room which was nice and they gave us pool access in case we wanted to use the pool or order food at the tiki bar while we had to wait for our room to be ready. Other people were able to check in early I noticed as I sat in the lobby working fur awhile so that made me more frustrated. Both of our room keys quit working the next morning and we were up early. There’s also no breakfast or food offered other than for purchase at the tiki bar but they have coffee and tea in the lobby. The en-suite bathroom was leaking water from the ceiling ventilation fan, due to the massive rain storm…I think, but we were not on the top floor, so that’s concerning. I did let the front desk staff know about the leak.
Summary: Nice views and the rooms and balconies are beautiful and comfortable but the location was disappointing and has no beach
