Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Staff were nice, the location is ideal - close to the main square in a busy and well lit area. Good that breakfast is included. The room was spacious, hot water and WiFi worked well. Appreciated having a fan to make it easier to sleep at night in the heat.

Negative: There are roadworks on the street directly outside the hotel, it’s an absolute mess of rubble and tricky to walk through. The bed didn’t have any blanket/doona, I realise that it’s very hot in Piura but it was strange only having one thin sheet! The soap left on the bed wasn’t wrapped which was also unusual, and they didn’t provide any towels so we had to ask reception.

Summary: Fine for one night passing through!
