Positive: An excellent hotel, very good breakfast, nice staff, all very comfortable. Good and easy parking. We stayed for a skiing holiday in Val di Fassa. The hotel has a ski room in the basement - you can even lock your skis there, and there is a very good skiboot dryer. The hotel is well positioned in the town - close to the center and skibus stops are on both sides of the road just next to the hotel. Skibuses stopping at the side of the hotel (the stop is called Hotel Primula) bring you to the Col Rodella lift in Campitello (about 800 meters from the hotel, you could walk there but better to take a ski bus there - lasts 2 minutes) and then also to lifts in Pozza di Fassa. Skibuses stopping at the opposite side (the stop is called Hotel Grohmann) bring you to Canazei lift. Skibuses are paid but definitely worth buying the skibus card for your days in order to move to/from the various lifts.
Negative: This has nothing to do with the hotel but be prepared to queue for about 15-20 minutes at the Col Rodella lift in Campitello. This lift is used by many to get to the slopes. Even if from January 2026 there is a new lift that has much bigger capacity than the old one, you still need to wait. Don't make the mistake to queue without the skipasses - go first around the queue to buy the skipasses and then go back to the beginning of the line.
