Originally constructed in 1969 with an addition in the mid ‘70’s, the Flying Monkey embraces the ambiance of a true Outer Banks summer cottage while sporting modern conveniences and fresh local decor. This three bedroom, one full bath and two half bath cottage has a unique floor plan. The main structure is comprised of two bedrooms, one full and one half bath, kitchen and living room. Out the back door, through the covered breezeway, is the master suite featuring another half bath and laundry. This setup can accommodate a wide range of vacationers and is perfect for multiple couples, parents/grandparents or anyone that appreciates a bit of separation from the rest of their party while on vacation. All bedrooms are furnished with a queen bed, nightstand, dresser, mirror and 32” Roku smart TVs. Additionally, the master also includes a small sitting area making it - almost - a complete escape from the main house. Outdoor living space is abundant here. The front porch in the main house is comfortably furnished and is perfect for morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. The breezeway between structures has a small sitting area, outdoor shower and access to the patio which includes a Jacuzzi hot tub, picnic table and propane grill. Most importantly, a direct pedestrian only beach access only 500 feet, a 2 minute walk, away.
Linens, towels and a starter supply of paper products are included. There is hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available for use as well. The only additional charges are the state/county occupancy taxes, house/hot tub cleaning fee.
