Summary: I spent two nights solo here, the hot springs bath onsen was the best part!! I felt rejuvenated and relaxed. Location super close, walking distance to train station. Hotel has the Japanese yukata to wear and you really get a taste of Japanese culture and food here. Many snacks and lots of food! Staff very helpful. I got western room with bath on balcony and loved soaking private nights there. Staff English is not fluent but with translators you get by. The garden yard was peaceful too. There are two buildings, I was in back one do a bit of a walk to main area, but not a problem. I would recommend if you want a Japanese experience and be near the train for early morning Hakone loop — best the crowds by staying in Gora.
