5 mins to hibachi/sushi & Italian restaurants, Winery, & State Park. 10 mins to Food Lion, ABC store. 15 min to Tim’s seafood, mini golf & Moo Thru Ice Cream! Great property for fishing & fun! Grocery delivery available!
Location:
We are on the public side of the lake which has boat access to all local restaurants. 5 min drive to Lake Anna Winery. Grocery store, Pizza, Chinese, nail salon & ABC store are all 10 minutes by car. Local restaurants such as Tim's seafood, The Cove, & Moo Thru Ice cream are 15 mins away as well as Mini Golf & volleyball at the Lake Anna "boardwalk"! We are about 35 mins from downtown Fredericksburg, 1 hour from Charlottesville, 1 hour from Richmond & about 1 hour and 35 mins from DC. Food lion will deliver groceries right to the front porch (as well as amazon prime)!
The Property:
The land across the lake is all State Park so there are no houses in your view. It is a relatively quiet cove that is perfect for swimming or sitting by the fire pit! The property has a large amount of waterfront, & a lot of land for hiking, wildlife, & exploring. Folks fishing off of the dock have been very successful as well. You can tie a boat to the dock, but there is no lift. The closest ramp is 5 minutes away at High point or Anna point marinas (both of which offer daily boat rentals as well).
The Home:
We are SO excited to share that our home has new wood floors, fresh paint, bathroom tile as well as a 7 person HOT TUB!!
The house is super cozy, has a TON of natural light & is more modern than your typical lake house! We have a comfortable sectional in the living area w/ a 70” TV that is perfect for a movie night as well as a wood burning fireplace. We have a large kitchen that comes w/ a fully stacked coffee bar, yummy snacks & an 8 person dining room table w/ an additional 2 seats at the island. There is an office upstairs, perfect for working from home! We have an indoor patio right off the kitchen w/ a cozy loveseat & hanging swinging chair that is perfect for morning coffee & decompressing after a long lake day. We also have beautiful, newly finished basement that has it's own full bath, boho entertainment area with seating and cute bar cart & a very large bedroom!
Sleeping Arrangements:
The master bedroom is on the main floor with its own full bath, king bed, 50” TV & access to the wrap around porch! The first bedroom upstairs (The “Pastel” Room) has the best view of the lake & a King sized bed. The second upstairs bedroom (The bunk room) has a set of bunk beds (1 twin, 1 full, & extremely cozy mattresses) as well as a queen size bed. Upstairs has a full bath for both bedrooms to share. The basement has a large bedroom (The “Tropical Room”) that comfortably fits a Queen, a full and two twin sized beds!
You have free reign of the entire property!
There is a locked closet in the master + locked owners room in the basement. These and the Attic crawl space + shed are the only spaces not open to guests.
We installed a “party detector” inside of the home that will alert us if the noise level becomes excessive. As per a new policy we can cannot allow guests or events. We follow a strict good neighbor policy & do not allow unruly parties or noise outside of the home past 10pm. Thank you!
High-speed Internet is a rare find on the lake. Enjoy the seclusion and peace and quiet but still connect your devices and stream Netflix on our 70" TV mounted above the fireplace.
