Located in a peaceful quiet area just outside of Omena, this wonderful home sits on a gorgeous, pristine beach front on West Grand Traverse Bay in Northport. A perfect home for your family's summer vacation on a quiet private area nestled in the trees and along the sparkling blue waters of Grand Traverse Bay. This magical location sleeps up to 12 guests.
Features a main level with upper level and a guest house. The sleeping arrangements offer a master bedroom with a king bed on the main level. Each upper level bedroom has a king bed with a daybed, and 1 queen in the family room with separate sleeping area. The guest house has a queen and sofa bed..
This 2 level home welcomes your guests in very spacious accommodations with sunrise views. On the main floor enjoy the expansive views of the lake from almost every room. The kitchen offers a great cooking spot for the chef in the family. The kitchen is nicely appointed and features granite counter tops and dishwasher. Step over to the huge living room/dining room that overlooks the bay. Off of the living room is a lovely enclosed porch with expansive water views. Relax, eat, and play here and enjoy more of those fantastic views. From the porch area, move to a spacious master bedroom with a king bed and full bath. There is also a half bath and separate laundry room on the main level.
On the upper level are 2 additional spacious bedrooms that have a king bed and a trundle (2 twins) second bedroom has a king bed plus a trundle (2 twins). The second floor also features a very large family room with stone fireplace and large screen TV. Terrific room to hang out. An additional open style bedroom that has a queen and a twin bed is off of the family room. There are two full baths on the upper level. The main house features central air conditioning. There is also a separate guest house that can sleep up to 4. There is one bedroom on the upper level with a queen bed and a twin. The guest house has a full kitchen. Sheets and towels are included. (no ac in guest house) Weekly summer rentals include mid-week linen change if desired.
Start your morning with breathtaking sunrises. They will not disappoint. You also have the chance to see the moon rise on the bay in the evening. Enjoy starry nights and a campfire, rest and relax at this amazing spot. Outside is where all the fun begins. Step out from the living room or porch onto the deck. A great vantage point to watch all of the beach fun. Speaking of the beach. This is one of the best beaches around. All sand! (We cannot control the Great Lakes. Water levels go up and down so beach access can be different than shown. As well, storms can move small pebbles onto the sand but typically this beach stays sandy). Be amazed at the evening skies that shimmer with a million stars. There is a fire pit area to gather around on a patio area along the shoreline. Plenty of outdoor seating too. Gas grill. You may never want to leave this wonderful spot. No jet skis at this location or motoring boats overnight. This home is located 5 minutes to the village of Northport. Plenty of things to do in this fun town.
Suttons Bay is 15 minutes away. Traverse City is about a 35 minute drive.
