Relax and experience the real Big Island of Hawai’i away from the crowds and the busy hotels. Just 42 minutes south of Kona Airport and located in the heart of the Kona Coffee Belt in South Kona, our garden apartment is super close to Two Step and Pu'uhonua o Honaunau Place of Refuge (only 8 minutes to the north) and Ho’okena Beach (only 11 minutes to the south).
Our apartment is a great place to call home while you explore the Kona Coast, whether it’s Kealakekua Bay, Place of Refuge & Two Step, Ho’okena Beach, or further south to Volcanoes National Park (1hr 20 minutes to the south).
Our private garden apartment is located at the rear of the house with private views of the garden. The apartment is part of a property surrounded on two sides by forest reserve land. The apartment is separate and private from the main house. Newly renovated, this is a spacious one bedroom apartment. At approximately 750 square feet, the apartment accommodates two people. And at 900 ft. elevation the apartment remains cool, so no air conditioning is needed. The Kona Coast microclimate at this elevation means we experience warm sunny days and cooler evenings – perfect for a restful night’s sleep.
There is one main bedroom with a queen bed and a comfortable living room with dining room alcove. The newly remodeled kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a new stove and microwave. We have wireless internet and easy undercover parking in your own carport, as well as a dedicated side driveway entrance.
Rates: One bedroom $150 per night + tax and $150 cleaning fee for 1-2 persons. 5 night minimum with advance reservation.
