Summary: I almost canceled our reservation because I read another review which was negative and now I’m so glad I didn’t cancel! This was easily one of the top places I’ve ever stayed at . The staff and service was top notch. They did everything to make our stay comfortable. The place itself is gorgeous. The room had a ton of thoughtful touches all over the place . From the little things like easy access lights to comfortable night clothes, charging cables , the tea - everything !! And the private onsen - whoa! My skin felt rejuvenated after one evening in it ! And the view while you laze in it - I could get used to living like that 😉 And saving the best for last - the food! That kaiseki dinner is the kind I’ve seen on food network. Every single dish was delicious, so beautifully plated. Kudos to the chef and his team. One of the mains I had - the pork, had some crunchy topping, with berries and a red wine reduction sauce - get all of that in one bite and it’s a flavor explosion! That’s a meal I won’t forget for as long as I live ! Great staff, excellent service , lovely place . I only hope we can come back someday
