*Update: The retro stove in the kitchen has been repaired as well as the electricity in the master bedroom. The quirks of old houses come with surprises, I will always do my best to address these or find solutions to accommodate, but if you want new and modern this is not the place for you.*

Summary: The location of this property is nice if you are looking to stay a bit away from the bustle downtown. It also has a fantastic outdoor space if you are looking to spend time outside. Unfortunately, there were several issues with the property that were serious detractors from the enjoyment of our stay. First and foremost the oven is a 1950 vintage model that does not work. We were warned by the property owner that it was actually a fire hazard to try and use it. Secondly, the master bedroom did not have any electricity to it which made that bedroom unusable. Finally, the television on the property (which was a part of the listing) did not work at all. The owner did their best to offer alternatives, but these issues should have been made clear on the listing itself.
