Summary: Despite the fact that all restaurants and bars close as early as 9:30 p.m. on a Friday during the autumn holidays – and that many roads and walking tracks in the area seem unnecessarily blocked with barriers and fences – the place still exudes a magnificent sense of history. The apartment is large and beautiful, with a nice balcony, a TV with more than 30 channels, and well-functioning Wi-Fi. However, the level of service is limited – for example, there was only one drinking glass provided. On the other hand, there were plenty of towels, soap, and similar amenities. A really good base for exploring Rügen, enjoying the lovely beach, and of course experiencing the impressive and historic architectural complex that Prora is. Breakfast can be highly recommended at Café Break in No. 201 or bakery nearby.
