1 Bedroom Cabin in Bozeman
Our cozy cabin is located in beautiful Gallatin Gateway on 1 acre — 20min to downtown, 25min to airport, and 40 min to Big Sky Resort & Bridger Bowl. It's perfect for a short stop on your way to Big Sky, or a week long honey moon in the mountains. Nestled among aspens, pines, and with sweeping views of the Mountains, it's an amazing place to spend your vacation during any season. We live in the cabin next door and can just as easily visit with you as keep to ourselves! We hope to host you!
The space
Silver Creek Cabin is one of two cabins located on a 1 acre property off a dirt road just outside Bozeman, MT in a small community called Gallatin Gateway. The property is beautifully landscaped, and you'll enjoy sweeping views of the Bridger Mountains and Spanish Peaks. Your hosts live in the adjacent cabin and have set the parking up so that there is ample privacy. Your cabin was built in 1990 by a neighbor just a few homes down the road, and it was updated in 2022.
The cabin itself is a 1 bed studio with a full kitchen that includes a half-size 4 burner stove w/ oven, refrigerator, microwave, cooking supplies and utensils, and a Kuereg coffee maker. There is a small kitchen table with beautiful views out the window. The propane fireplace really makes the space cozy, especially in the colder months! The living space includes two sofa chairs-- one near the large picture window, and one in front of the TV that has Roku. There is a full bathroom with shower. The shower is somewhat short and may not be the best for very tall people.
In the summer, we offer complimentary bear spray for anytime you plan on walking/hiking in grizzly country. Don't hesitate to ask about it if you are unfamiliar with it! Please just remember to return it before you check out.
In the winter, we offer complimentary snowshoes to walk a 1/4 mile trail that is on the property. It goes down the berm and the up the canal bottom. Feel free to bring the snowshoes to a local trail, but please don't forget to return them!
The front porch includes two wooden chairs and a propane fireplace. The back & front yards include a small firepit.
Guest access
The parking area and mowed grass behind your cabin is available to use. there is a fire pit in the corner behind the cabin as well.
Other things to note
The cabin has exposed hot water heaters that are hidden behind a simple curtain.
The gas fireplace will become hot to the touch, but nothing like an actual wood fire stove.
The West Gallatin Canal runs along the back fence line of the property behind the large berm. Feel free to hop the fence to gain some epic views from the berm, but please take care and mind the water below.
