Positive: We really enjoyed the wide range of activities the resort offers, especially for guests who enjoy being active. The padel and tennis courts, fitness facilities and various sports activities were a big plus for us. North Beach was absolutely beautiful and definitely one of our favorite spots at the resort. We also really enjoyed the food at Cyan, which was excellent and stood out compared to the other dining options. A special mention has to go to Matteo from the fitness center. He was absolutely fantastic and also guided us on a hiking trip, which was one of the highlights of our stay. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and made the experience really enjoyable. Thank you, Matteo!
Negative: Unfortunately, despite the beautiful location and great facilities, the resort often felt far too crowded for a hotel in this price category. Especially during breakfast and dinner, it sometimes felt more like a large mass-market resort rather than an exclusive five-star experience. The staff were often simply too busy to provide the level of personal service you would expect, such as welcoming guests properly, showing them to a table or taking care of drinks. The buffet was also disappointing. While there were days when we found dishes we enjoyed, overall the quality and taste of the food did not meet our expectations, particularly considering the price per night. Another downside was that many activities booked up very quickly, so you really had to plan ahead to secure a spot. The same applied to sunbeds at the beach – if you arrived too late, it could be difficult to find one. During our stay, we also effectively only had one beach that we could comfortably use. The other beach was extremely windy and there was a purple warning flag up throughout our stay. There were also many crabs on the beach and quite a few jellyfish in the water, which made swimming there very unappealing. As a result, we mainly had to use North Beach, which of course contributed to it feeling even more crowded. There were also a lot of families with children, so guests looking for a quiet and relaxing resort atmosphere should keep this in mind. Finally, there were quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property. Overall, the resort has a lot to offer, but we expected a more exclusive, personal and relaxed experience for the price.
