Tucked away with peek-a-boo views of Whitefish Lake, only 10 mins from downtown Whitefish, 15 mins from the slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort and a quick 45 minutes to the west entrance of Glacier Park. Enjoy the rustic, peaceful feeling - relax in the private hot tub, lounge on the front deck or kickback by the firepit. Great basecamp for your recreational activities and to explore all the area has to offer.

Conveniently located to many of the area’s amazing natural attractions, you are 10 minutes from quaint downtown Whitefish, 15 minutes from the ski slopes of Whitefish Mountain Resort (just past the turn off to the mountain), 45 minutes from Glacier National Park (west entrance), and approximately 40 minutes to Flathead Lake. The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more. The nearest airport, Glacier Park International (FCA), is about 20 miles away.
The entire space is yours to use.
Each of the two bedrooms have a queen-sized bed; one bedroom is on the main level and another up in the loft. The open living area offers a fireplace, comfortable area for relaxing and large windows out to the patio with views of Whitefish Lake through the trees. The kitchen is spacious with peninsula seating at the large counter and a dining room table. New stainless-steel appliances (stove/fridge), microwave plus small kitchen appliances and all of the essentials are at your fingertips to accommodate your needs. *The loft staircase does not have a railing therefore, it is not suited for small children/toddlers.
The spacious bathroom with two sinks and large walk-in shower as well as a stacked washer/dryer, completes the main floor. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent are all available.
The back patio area makes for a great hang out spot in the evenings. Cook up a meal on the bbq or relax by the firepit while underneath the stars. Firewood and propane are provided, help yourself. The new front deck offers seating, lounge chairs and a private hot tub down a few steps.

Rainy day and you forgot to pack your jacket? We've got you covered. The downstairs guest closet has rain jackets in size XS through 3XL. Feel free to borrow them. We just ask that you put them back at the end of your stay.
Wish you were lounging between the trees in the back yard? We've got you covered too. In the downstairs guest closet you'll also find two, two-person, hammocks with straps and carabiners included.
Due to the location of our home and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber is a good choice. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions.
Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key.
The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well.
Cellular service can be spotty depending on your provider, weather conditions, etc. Generally, the Wi-Fi service from the house is reliable.
