Enjoy this 3300 sqft home which is a short 0.2 mile walk to Granite Peak Ski Resort. Ski in/out is defined as the ability to access the ski resort without the need to drive or use paid transportation and this 1/2 acre property allows for that using a flat terrain, wooded trail. Newly furnished items throughout the home. 4 bedroom, 3 bath home includes a large master bedroom, ultra plush King mattress, master bath with jetted soaking tub, and walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 is a gamer design with a bunk bed. Bedroom 3 has a full bed with a plush mattress. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed with a pillow top mattress.
Eat out at the many wonderful local restaurants, or dine in using the full kitchen with a breakfast table. The kitchen also includes an island, fridge, stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, electric can opener, waffle maker, air fryer, crock pots, griddle, and slow cooker. The formal dining room table and chairs comfortably seat 8 with extension piece.
The formal living room has a wood burning fireplace (currently out of commission due to needing damper repairs) and a deck off the living room. The lower level family room includes a gas fireplace, theater/game room, and wet bar in walk-out basement. A queen size self-inflating air mattress will be set up in the family room for a guest limit of 9 or 10 unless you indicate it is not needed.
Looking for a flexcation? Enjoy remote work or school from this property using the high speed WiFi access. This home has 2 desks on the main level and one executive office on the lower level. The office includes an executive desk, monitor, and electric fireplace.
Spring/Summer/Fall:
Enjoy sitting out on the deck or one of the 3 patios listening to the birds chirp and occasionally see deer walk through. Relax in the hammock shaded by hemlock and oak trees. Hike to Rib Mountain State Park or walk to Rib Mountain Golf Course right from the property. Take a short drive to visit area waterfalls or watch the pros kayak through the whitewater park. Take the 2 sit on top kayaks 3.5 miles down the road to Trails End Bar for free river access, and enjoy a meal indoors or outdoors after floating down the river a while. (An ongoing landscape project is underway. Fire pit temporarily unavailable while the fireplace is being built. Progress is shared on our Facebook page.)
No more than a total of 10 guests permitted (children are counted as a guest). Trespassers (any person above the maximum of 10) will be evicted to maintain compliance with municipal regulations.
No pets or animals allowed. $550 fee will be added for any animals snuck in. That is the minimum cost to hire a professional shampoo company to clean the carpets in the home. The professional cleaning fees are higher for house training accidents.
