****CA will be doing rolling blackouts this summer. This unit has an automatic propane-powered generator that kicks on when the power goes out. You never have to worry when the area is without power!
Guests will have access to the backyard, including the gazebo and game room. Please DO NOT light an open pit fire. NO smoking allowed on or inside the property.
We love dogs at Stargazer. We ask that you never leave your pet unattended, never allow them on furniture or in beds/blankets, and please clean up after your dog.

Since our property is in CA, we are prone to rolling blackouts. These blackouts affect power (we have a backup generator) and the internet. We have no control over when these blackouts occur, and while they’re short-lived, they can be inconvenient. Most guests who experience the blackouts understand it’s temporary and enjoy the peace and quiet of this amazing property; however, if you need to be connected 24/7 with zero interruptions, this may not be the property for you. Please consider this before booking, as there are no refunds for any inconvenience.
Finally, please remember that this is a rural property that is shared with Mother Nature. You may or may not see wildlife that can include, but is not limited to, bears, deer, foxes, skunks, opossums, squirrels, mice, spiders, ants, and mosquitoes. Please help mitigate this risk by not leaving food outside or in your car. Lock and secure all trash receptacles and ensure your pets are secure on leashes at all times.
*We have a generous cancellation policy, and while we realize that you may need to cancel, if you do so, we will withhold 3% to cover the fees we pay our credit card processors. Thank you for understanding.
We love Dogs at Big Dipper. All owners must disclose and agree to our pet rules. We have a 2 dog max. unless agreed upon with hosts. If we allow any additional dogs, there will be a $25 per dog per night fee charged.
Safety cameras are located at the main entrance and driveway areas to ensure guests have secured entry into the unit.
Guests are NOT permitted to tamper with or disable the Internet and security cameras that are located, disclosed, and in plain view on the property. The Internet, and subsequent wifi systems, control the HVAC, door locks, emergency generator, and other essential functions of the house and property. Tampering with any of the external cameras, router, Wi-Fi points, will result in the immediate termination of your reservation and you will be asked to leave the property immediately.
