Summary: Calling Beijing Hotel a five-star hotel is a joke. Its facilities are too old to make anyone's stay comfortable. The table lights are just decorations and cannot be turned on. There was NO air conditioning. Surprise!!! Only air with normal air temperature is sent via a central system. To get cool air, a service person just opened a tiny bit of a window for me. Sad! Towels are like those from motels, thin and small. The carpet looks old and dirty. If it were not for the historical significance of this hotel, I would not have stayed here. Will I come back to stay in this hotel again? Absolutely not.
