Positive: The location of the property relative to the sea and the city center, the sea view, the absence of noise, no wind or drafts on the loggia, a well-equipped kitchen, availability of a washing machine and all necessary kitchen utensils, a large refrigerator, a coffee maker, a toaster, a cordless handheld vacuum cleaner (super convenient), and a good shower.
Negative: We were not met near the property as stated in the booking conditions. At 10:00 p.m., after 13 hours of driving, we had to message the owner’s representative and drive into town to pick up the keys. Only one set of keys was provided for a family of four. The double bed is small with an uncomfortable mattress. The bed has no headboard. The bedroom and bathroom doors cannot be locked. The air conditioner is unusable because the external unit is installed inside the loggia. When in use, the external unit heats the loggia so much that it becomes uninhabitable. The internal AC unit is only in the bedroom. No one speaks English, despite the booking conditions stating otherwise. To resolve issues, the owner communicates with the tenant apparently using ChatGPT and is not prepared to share responsibility for his own oversights. Weak and poorly functioning Wi-Fi.
Summary: Good value for money for undemanding travellers.
