The open-plan gourmet kitchen has all your cooking essentials and will have you cooking up a storm. With ample refrigeration, there is plenty of space to store artisan food produced by locals that you can pick up at the many local markets.
Amidst beautiful landscaping, enjoy your morning coffee on the deck, or soak up the warm morning rays of sun on one of the sun loungers on the entertainment deck - the choice is yours. In The Colonnades House, there's plenty of space for everyone to escape and find their little piece of paradise in the home, both inside and out.
The kids will love beach with the Australian nature on your doorstep. Watch wallabies, kangaroos, echidnas, spoonbills and shearwaters from your armchair or outdoor lounger and listen to the cacophony of frogs with the ocean roaring at night. On a nice evening, gaze at the Milky Way under a rug - every day takes your breath away.
The house relies on solar storage and operates like a normal home but you need to be please be mindful of electricity consumption hence why we don't supply hairdryers, irons, air conditioners/heaters and microwaves as they all draw too much energy - Enjoy the slower and mindful way of life.
There are 2 CCTV cameras outside, these are not viewed unless there is a cause for concern.
The house is in a residential street with surrounding permanent tenants so we only rent to mature guests that will remain respectful to our neighbours. The house is to be used for relaxation-style holidaying, loud parties are prohibited.

NEIGHBOURHOOD
BEACHES
Cape Woolamai's patrolled beach is 2km along the beach towards the cape - in front of the surf club with good car parking.
Patrolled Smith's beach is excellent for swimming/ surfing and having fun with the waves.
Woolamai waters - facing back to San Remo is a great safe calm beach and morning walks.
The Colonnades is a very dangerous beach with many rips.
We urge/ strongly recommend that people swim between the flags at the patrolled beaches on the island.
The neighbourhood is safe and family-friendly. There is a guest guidebook at the home with recommendations on what to do in the area, this gives dining options and local attraction suggestions.
