Positive: The floor to ceiling windows looking out into a tranquil, tropical backyard made this a very peaceful place to stay. It was lovely taking a coffee out under the trees in the morning. The memory foam bed was comfortable and I appreciated having shower soaps supplied. The host even left a nice welcome gift!
Negative: There are two main reasons I didn't give this a 10/10. The biggest is it wasn't clear when renting this place that there were two units on the property - both sharing access to that attractive backyard. This became an obvious challenge because it seemed every guest (there were two different groups that rented the other space while I was there) rented this property for access to that yard. And none of us were warned that we were sharing the entrance, parking, or yard. One group had even brought a full camera production crew to create content in their bikinis in that yard while my dog and I sat inside with a full view unless I wanted to close the curtains midday. I had brought my dog thinking she would have free range of the yard, but kept her on a leash most of the time since I had no way of communicating with the other renters or knowing when someone might be coming/going. One night I was locked out of the property because the other guests locked the outdoor gates after parking in the driveway. I could not get ahold of the owner and had to get the attention of the other guests to get let back in.
