Nestled in its own 2 acres of aspen grove, this private mountain home is a peaceful escape in a quiet neighborhood. Golden Gate State Park is literally next door with over 58 miles of multi-use trails and only a short drive to Arapaho & Roosevelt National Forest as well as other major Colorado Open Spaces.
The home offers all the amenities you need for a secluded mountain getaway, yet only 20mins to Golden, 30 mins to Idaho Springs and Nederland, 45 mins to downtown Denver and just over an hour to Denver International Airport.
This is a spacious 3 story home with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, one on each level.
The generous master has a queen bed, walk in closet and flat screen TV and is located on the top floor. Its large private en-suite has two sinks, a wonderful soaker tub and a separate walk in shower. There is a multi-purpose seating area outside the master in the open loft space. This space has a workspace, reading nook and a comfortable couch that transforms into a queen sleeper for a fourth bed (all extra bedding is provided in the master closet).
The second bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, walk in closet, flat screen TV and an attached full bathroom.
The newly refinished walk-out basement is a private suite accessed via either the internal stairs from the main floor or via its own exterior door entrance by the fire pit. It has a full bathroom, walk in closet and a kitchenette/wet bar with coffee machine, microwave and fridge. There is also another seating area with a flatscreen TV, stereo and surround sound.
There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to soak up the views! There is a huge 525 square foot private deck area which is equipped with a Weber propane grill, large and smaller outdoor dining tables and chairs and a relaxing conversation area with wooden bench and Adirondack chairs. On the ground floor there is a propane fire pit with comfortable chairs. The covered front porch area has two large wooden rocking chairs to relax and unwind. And then there’s even a guest hammock amongst the aspen for a lazy afternoon nap!

What we don’t have:
Air conditioning (but we do have a few fans) - Mountain homes don’t have aircon because they just don’t need it! Summer daytime temperatures in the mountains rarely, if ever, go above 80 degrees. Nighttime temps drop to the cool 50s. Open the windows to enjoy fresh air and cooling breeze!
Garage - the garage is not accessible to guests. Parking for up to three vehicles is available on the driveway in front of the garage area.
