Positive: The apartment is directly by the sea, you literally step out of the kitchen on the peer. It is not the nicest beach on the island, but the water is nice and the sea is calm, the kids were able to play and swim safely. Also, the city of Korcula is 5 minutes away by car, ask the host about the free parking option in town. This means you are 5 minutes away from the ferry, supermarkets, drug store,... on the other hand it is a calm bay, very quiet, at night you can seat on the peer with a glass of wine, hearing nothing but fish jumping out of the water and quiet music from LaBagna beach. The apartment is clean and comfortable, there are plenty of storage options. You can use the grill in the yard. For day trips and island exploring you are again just 5 minutes of the main island road.
Negative: The check-in was at 4pm which is quite late. There is AC, but it's in the living room and with the layout of the apartment it is impossible to cool off the bedroom with it. It wasn't really an issue as the house is directly by the sea and the evening breeze was nice with the windows open, but you do need to bring or buy the musqito plug-in repllents.
Summary: A perfect location for a calm holiday and day trips.
