Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The self-check-in was convenient, and the free parking and reliable Wi-Fi were definite positives. Communication with the host was also good, and she was friendly and helpful.
Negative: Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed when we entered the apartment, as there was a strong unpleasant smell, particularly of cigarette smoke, despite the no-smoking sign. An ashtray with visible ash residue had also been left on the living-room table and did not appear to have been properly cleaned. The apartment is showing its age and did not seem to have been cleaned thoroughly. The mattress was also pretty uncomfortable. Since we arrived late and stayed for only one night, we did not raise all of these issues during our stay. Overall, it was acceptable for a short overnight stay, but the smell, cleanliness and sleeping comfort definitely need improvement.
Summary: Convenient stay, but room for improvement
